Due to a showcase I attended to I updated my showreel a little bit.
I’m currently working on an animation project which will be added to the showreel when it’s finished. Stay tuned! Hope you like it.
Yesterday I finished the book for an animation project I’m working on. I rendered some still images to show you how it looks like.
The book is rigged and can be opened and closed. Everything is done by me.
I also made a little film of it opening just to show you how it works. :-) It took forever to render, but here it is. Enjoy!
It feels good to be finished with the book. Now I can move forward to the the animation.
So guys…. Stay tuned!
Here is a walk cycle I made of Risse some weeks ago. I must say that working with this rig is really hard. I got some problems with the model and skinning. I should just start over and model him again if I want it to be perfect (I did not model this one, except for the face). Although I have done my best to make the rig work well and I think I got a nice walk cycle. :-)
This animation is also uploaded on my portfolio, if you want to check out the rest of my work it would be awesome!
At the moment I’m working on a new project, so please stay tuned and I’ll upload it when I’m finished.
Hi, Hello! Yes! Finally the post I’ve been planning to post is here!
I want to share what I’ve been spending most of my time with the project “Risse in Budorskogen”.
To be honest I haven’t been rigging much before I started rigging Risse, and I didn’t know what I actually threw myself into. I used the rigging tutorials on the website poly face which was really helpful. So I really want to thank the person who made all the tutorials and made them available online for free!
First I have to say that I did not make the 3D model of the character. I only fixed the face because the typology of it was bad. So, here is the rig! It probably looks simple for people who doesn’t know what it is, but it’s actually pretty hard to make it work properly if you are not skilled.
There are some skinning issues and bugs I need to fix.. but I’ll will deal with that later! :-D
Yeap! I have made a showreel! But I will make it even better soon. :-) There are some more content that I will add later. And I will also produce some more content, bacause I feel my showreel is a bit boring. :-P Hehe.
Please check it out!
and stay tuned because more stuff will be posted soon!
Most of you might remember my animation project (that never gets finished… Hehe… ). I’ve tried to fix the problem I had with the characters not casting shadows. After some chatting with an old classmate of mine who also knows Maya, I got some tips which helped me fix the problem.. Wii!
Today I rendered the clip. It took forever because Maya decided to crash several times. And sometimes it only wanted to render one frame although the settings were correct.. It is a bit annoying when you get these random problems.. Hehe.. but now.. finally it is here… uploaded on vimeo.. with shadow!
The lighting and shadow is only basic and maybe not brilliant, but remember that I try to specialize in animation. And animation is what I wish to spend most of my time with.
I would love to get some feedback on the animations which will help me become better and help the animation look better. :) Hehe! I see something I need to fix; the blink on the dragon at the end of the clip.
You might also think “when will she ever get finished with the whole clip?” Well, this project has not exactly been a priority as I have had several other things to take care of in my life these passed months, but I will try to find more time for it the coming week. :-)

Most of you know of my the animation project I started some months ago. well, now the first part of the clip is almost finished. If you could give me some feedback on it it would be awesome! Because that will help me make it look even better.
If you are wondering why my process is so slow, it it because I have other things to do in my life as well. I’ll tell you about the reasons later when the time is right.
I hope you like my animation so far!
